Plagues, Pandemics, and Outbreaks of Disease in History

The Renaissance Society of America and Fordham University present the online symposium Plagues, Pandemics, and Outbreaks of Disease in History. The event aims to develop and review specific ways to incorporate the historical understanding of disease outbreak into the teaching curriculum at colleges and secondary schools. This symposium is co-sponsored by Fordham University’s Center for Medieval Studies, and the Departments of Art History and Music, Classics, and History. The Zoom event will be held 13 November 2020 and is open to the public.
